Managing lay-offs is always a tough challenge for HR managers. Not only would one need to make sure legal compliance with the labour law, the HR manager would also need to deal with the business, people and especially emotional aspect of lay-offs.

关于演讲嘉宾: Edwin Kuan 关伟忠 老师
关伟忠老师 自1996年就担任大型跨国企业的人力资源总监,并于2008年担任全球制造、汽车配件行业李尔公司的亚洲人力资源副总裁(VP HR)。
Edwin Kwan has been a HR Director for large business organisations since 1996, and has been the VP HR for Lear Corporation in Asia.
与很多HR不同的是,关老师是少数从事一线工作成功转型成HR的资深管理者之一。因此关先生对企业中的各个部门如:供应链、销售、生产直至财务都非常熟悉,可谓是他服务过的企业的各个部门、单位的核心商务伙伴。他因此也是少数能将HR及各部门业务的精髓融会贯通的专家之一。
Unlike most HRs, Edwin is one of the few senior HR professionals whom have made successful transitions from line operations to HR. As such, he has in-depth insights of the operations of each function such as supply chain, sales, production or even finance. He is also one of a very few HRs who are able to manage and hire the heads (VPs) of each function, and ensure their performance
