Our client is a world’s leading financial and legal software and service provider. They are looking for a Business Analyst based in Shanghai. The Business Analyst position entails becoming the business and technical expert in this domain, gathering and documenting business requirements and driving the application development and validation.
The main objective of the role is to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs covering multiple Company workflow products. Closely work with clients and business managers to define, specify, and document the technical specifications from business requirements. Work directly with product management to priorities features and join the architect or design review when necessary. Support global and local developers to enhance or refactor the product modules, database structures, and data dictionary by clarifying requirements and specifications; provide regular feedback regarding changes in scope to current project list with respect to changes that may impact client organizations. Track and report China related feature development to business stakeholders and be the escalate point to technology and business leaders. Produce the test case from the product specifications; lead the validation of China related features. Participate in cross-departmental meetings. Work as a team to document, track, and produce reports for all projects pertinent to the group.
Ideally, you must have more than 6 years experience in IT industry, 3 years in software and DB design at least; Strong experience of requirement gathering, elicitation, articulation, and validation; years of experience with Oracle or SAP ERP systems. Experience of Java development and database design; strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written English communication, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of project management and systems analysis methodologies. Experience in global trade, China customs compliance, logistics industry is a plus. Influence verbal English and writing
