Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for planning, reporting and analysis of financial information for the Suzhou Operations and acts as financial counterpart to the local plant and department managers. In this function he/she reports to the Finance VP of China & North Asia and interacts closly with the local Accounting Shared Service Center the Product Costing and local functional managers.
Focus of this position is to ensure a cost effective and efficient production at the Suzhou plant through preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis according to Management needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has two direct reports, which are Manager, Finical Analysis & Manager, Cost Accounting.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Perpare yearly Business Plan for the Suzhou Operations including headcount, cost center costs, DL, DVO rates, scrap, CoGM and Capital Expenditures in cooperation and coordination with the functional managers and the product costing department.
2.Perform monthly financial reports of the site operations including analysis and communication of major variances. This includes the preparation of a monthly Manufacturing Report, CoGM, Cost Center Costs and rates variances as well as ad-hoc reports and analysis per request of the Controller Automotive Asia or the functional managers.
3.Support Make-or-Buy Analysis or other Business Case calculations by collecting information and providing calculation data
4.Support creation and verify purchase request within the SAP System and acts as financial support for all controlling related topics.
5.Attend manufacturing management and steering meetings, communicate and present financial information to the audience, highlight and address issues and support the management by identifying improvements for issue areas.
6.Maintain cost center, project and internal order master data, maintain cost center structure and DL / DVO rates in SAP System, maintain SAP workflow approver list
7.Train and educate functional managers and SAP Users in financial matters and used SAP processes
Basic Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. Masters in Business
Administration or Finance preferred.
Experience:More than five years of finance or controlling experience in a serial production manufacturing environment including experience in standard costing, cost accounting and reporting & analysis. Strong analytic skills combined with good interpersonal skills. Experienced with standard SAP transactions in CO/FI/MM modul and MS Excel. Excellent written and verbal communications in English and Chinese.
Certifications:CMA or CPA or other professional certification
