 Responsibilities:
 * Complete design and development programs for new and existing products; meeting cost objectives, budget and schedule.
 * Complete design and development programs, which will meet product support cost objectives, to budget and schedule.
 * Attain project objectives and results following guidelines.
 * Provide support and technical value to divisional test programs.  Develop new test standards.
 * Complete the development of tests that gauge products' field performance properly.
 * Establish analytical techniques that foster best practice of design with the expectation that methods will continuously improve.
 * Lead the Engineering organization in implementation of state-of-the-art web practices, including communication, collaboration and CAD/CAE capabilities.
 * Formally review employee performance annually.  Provide adequate feedback to show appreciation of accomplishments and assure understanding of improvement areas.  Develop, coach and counsel employees to facilitate their own performance improvement as indicated in the Performance Planning and Appraisal Review Process.
 Requirements:
 * Candidate must have ten year’s experience in project engineering and/or product/research development from a technical perspective, five year’s experience in managing technical resources.
 * Candidate must have a BS degree; MS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.  MBA degree highly desired.
 * Candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills with a record of resolving complex mechanical systems issues.  Understanding of dynamic simulation and FEA analyses is required.
 * Candidate must have excellent project management skills.
 * Candidate must be poised in group presentation settings.
 * Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating interactions across diverse cultures.
 * Participation in professional organizations is encouraged.
 * International experience is considered a positive attribute.
