As a leading HR service provider, Talent Spot follows closely the demands of the market and constantly understands the concerns of their clients. They are continuously developing their services and effectively coming up with HR outsourcing and recruitment solutions to help companies simplify their HR activities, thus allowing clients to focus on their core business. Elmer Goh, Vice-president of Talent Spot, felt that by winning this award, it means that the clients recognises the efforts and services provided by Talent Spot. More importantly, he believes that Talent Spot needs to constantly focus on clients’ every changing manpower demand, manpower management and effectively customise solutions at all times.
During the award ceremony, Tang Qiuyong, the founder and CEO of HRoot, mentioned that the HR service market in China is now confronted with a favourable situation. A “favourable climate, geography and social conditions”. Moreover, the increasing influence of internet to our daily life, the rise of the Sharing Economy model, Industry 4.0 concept and the change in economic development of China will all affect the employment trends, job opportunities and the development of the Chinese HR services market.
Elmer Goh also agreed based on Tang Qiuyong’s address by saying that “Employment trends of business enterprises has always been influenced by external environment. Enterprises cannot remain passive and they need to forecast and make adjustments pro-actively. They need to be in the forefront of innovations and optimization so that they can control cost savings for the company. He also mentioned that the Chinese economy has presented a downward trend since 2015; therefore, cost control becomes an important issue for enterprises, naturally, the control of labour cost is the most significant portion. To relieve the labour cost burdens on companies, the government has released a series of policies this year, such as reducing social security contribution, lowering the increase of minimum wage and adjusting the deposit ratio of the central provident fund in numerous provinces.” Elmer also pointed out that, besides leveraging on these “benefits” companies should also seek for a long-term, sustainable and effective employment method for cost control. This is to be prepared in the event when the market competition starts heating up. By virtue of years of study and practice, Talent Spot has found that contract staffing plays a significant role in saving cost and improving the flexibility of employment.
“Contract staffing” is based on customers’ business demands and needs. HR companies typically provide contract staffing services to customers based on the number of staff, the quality standard, so as to support customers’ business development. Under the employment model of contract staffing, enterprises can save large management costs, e.g., new employee training, recruitment and termination management etc. Finally, realizing the objective of “using staff without the need to training and managing them”. With the rapid change in external environment and customers’ demands, Talent Spot is investing more in “contract staffing” services in this year. With our strong sourcing team support and wide talents resources for various jobs all over China, we can meet the temporary and flexible personnel employment needs of enterprises and guarantee the timely placement of staff. This can be done seamlessly without interrupting the business operations of enterprises.
Currently in China, “Contract staffing” is considered a new form of employment method. In such a scenario, it presents a lot of challenges as well as opportunities. In dealing with the employment trend, business enterprises should take an active attitude and make sound judgment of trends to understand the significance of contract staffing. This will help them to seize the opportunities and also improve their competitive edge in their business.
Elmer Goh mentioned that Talent Spot would continue to expand its advantages in contract staffing to better facilitate companies to cope with challenges and competitions. The “Client Satisfaction Award” is a recognition as well as an encouragement to our future development. The acceptance of this award will drive Talent Spot to provide more customized solutions and also become loyal business partners to the companies which they serve.
